Ok - THIS is awesome and makes me very happy. The late 70s were fantastic for bringing the most bizarre juxtapositions together on TV even if neither side had any idea about the other person - even though this is (obviously) staged for 'comedic effect' here. Paul Lynde and Charles Nelson Reilly were always vying for the most campy (is he?) post on game shows with Lynde as the center Hollywood Square and Reilly on Match Game. Apparently Lynde got a TV special - I'm assuming just before the NBC special Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park aired on October 28, 1978.
